Finnegan's Last Stand

Yes, it was Finnegan's time to go. He had become anti-social, pugnatious, picked on others, his time was up. Finnegan had started out as a friendly guy but something happened to mess him up. So Andy loaded him into the box and we were off to the San Antonio Fish Store

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So we drove on down to San Antonio's Tropical and Marine ad Finnegan was looking really worried. Would he make new friends or would he harass the fishes that were already there. Andy traded him in on a tank heater.

                               

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The store had some neat customers, like the guy in dreadlocks, and a few other assorted customers. The fish store had a good neighbor, too. The sign said the "Calico Cat". The windows were boarded up. Who knows what nefarious enterprises that were carried on there.

We backtracked down through the winding San Antonio, heading for our nest stop -- Best Buy.

  And so here we are at Best Buy, the best little ole computer store in our area,.    of course it doesn't compare to the big Fry's in Austin but it does pretty well for us. After making our purchase we hied down Old Wiederstein Road, the shortcut (?) that Andy always likes to make to see more country.

                      

Down the road a-piece we saw a windmill at the Blue Bonnet Ballroom, and since I collect windmill pictures, I had to have this one. In a pasture we were greeted by a couple of long horny cattle and Andy spied a beautiful little Mustang and we had a look at that. But, you ask, why did we stop at Best Buy and what did we buy? Well,, I'll show you -- a beautiful new.........
